"Praise the Lord, my soul and FORGET NOT all His benefits."
- Psalm 103:2 (NIV) -

Dear Ministry Partner,

I have SO MUCH to be thankful for!

On a personal note, thank you so very much for your fervent prayers for me and my back surgery. The surgery went far better than expected. The surgeon was very encouraged with the operation and expects that I’ll have an excellent recovery.

I cannot tell you how humbled I was to receive so many encouraging emails and calls, and to hear of how many people were praying for me. I experienced the peace of God in a very tangible way in the moments leading up to the surgery. I am very thankful.

And on the Ministry side, I can’t thank God and thank you enough for the overwhelming generosity and support of our Mid-Year Match. I sense very clearly God’s blessing on the direction of Living on the Edge, and the ministry initiatives we have before us. What an amazing confirmation of where we’re headed. Thank you so much for your support!

Part of my own journey of “not forgetting God’s benefits” took me down memory lane. It might be a good exercise for you too. Looking back and remembering – and really giving God credit for all that He has done in the past – has a profound impact on our joy and contentment today.

God is using us TOGETHER to bring the TRUTH of His Word
to people all around the WORLD.

I share several stories on this month’s recording, but one woman’s story really stands out to me. In the early days of Living on the Edge, God used this story to drastically change my attitude about doing the broadcast.

A radio broadcast requires a lot of time, money, and work – and I was at a point where I was thinking, “Is this really worth it?” I mean, I was pastoring a large growing church, had a young family at that time, and I wondered if the many hours of recording were the wisest way to use my time and ministry resources.

A woman wrote to me and told me she had been on her way to have an abortion when she heard a message on the radio, and God used it to change her mind about that decision and the trajectory of her life. Wow! I was stunned.

Before that, I was thinking that maybe some people were hearing the messages and were encouraged, but what never occurred to me was the magnitude to which God was using the broadcast. That letter made me realize that God was really reaching people through this - people with real hurts and needs in the privacy of their car or at their kitchen table.

He was CHANGING hearts and minds!

It’s my sincere hope that the stories on the recording will refresh and encourage you as much as they did me. Remembering and giving God credit is not only good for our souls; it gives us confidence to know that God will continue to show us His faithfulness in the future.

Thank you in advance for your continued partnership in this ministry. Let’s continue to press ahead together as we “help Christians live like Christians.”

In Christ,

Chip Ingram
