Dear Friend,
At Living on the Edge, we believe that prayer is not just important—it’s essential. Prayer undergirds everything we do and is core to our ministry culture. Before we teach, before we create resources, and before we make decisions, we pray. We know that when we seek God first and respond in obedience to His leading, He is faithful to bring forth good fruit.
We continue to see God move in powerful ways in response to our commitment to unified prayer. Our staff has joined together in prayer and fasting during seasons of major ministry opportunities, such as the recent events and pastor trainings in Nairobi, Cairo, and Dubai. As a result, we are seeing God pour out His grace and favor over the ministry in increasing measure.
And it is our privilege to pray for you! Each Monday, our team intercedes for our ministry partners’ prayer requests, asking God to meet your needs in ways only He can. If you have a specific need in your heart, we’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s a personal need, a family situation, or a desire to grow in your faith, our team counts it a blessing to pray alongside you.
Would you also join us in praying for others? Across the world, God is moving in incredible ways. Our international partners are seeing people come to Christ in places where the gospel has been resisted for generations. But these breakthroughs don’t come without spiritual opposition. Prayer is the effective resource God has given us to prevail by faith. Will you consider joining our Prayer Partner Team? Together, we will stand with those we serve for strength, for courage, and to see God move in mighty ways for His glory and the blessing of His people.
To encourage you in your personal prayer life, we’ve created a free downloadable wallpaper for your phone as a daily reminder to seek Him first.
I’d like to close by sharing one of my favorite quotes on prayer by Charles Spurgeon:
Thou are coming to a King,
Large petitions with thee bring.
For His grace and power are such,
None can ever ask too much.
With gratitude,
