“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
PROVERBS 11:25 (NIV)

Dear Living on the Edge Partner,

These are challenging days for our nation. Cynicism, polarization, and violence are tearing at the very fabric of our communities, families, and churches. Yet, as followers of Jesus, we are called to be light and hope—people marked not by fear or division, but by radical, life-giving generosity.

If there’s one truth God has pressed upon my heart over decades of teaching and ministry, it is this: Generosity isn’t just about what we give; it’s a transformation that begins in the heart and spills over into every corner of our lives.

In God’s economy, generosity is the secret “genius” that unlocks His blessings both to us and through us to a world in desperate need. Generosity starts when we recognize that everything we have, our time, our talents, our resources, belongs to God. We are not owners; we are stewards. God does not ask us to be generous out of guilt or obligation but rather out of overflowing gratitude and trust that He will refill whatever we give away.

This isn’t just wishful thinking; it’s a principle embedded deeply in Scripture: “Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” When we are generous, God promises to meet our needs and fill our hearts with joy.

Our words matter. In moments of division, choosing encouragement over criticism and seeking understanding over judgment is an act of generosity that can heal and unite.

Generosity is also measured in time. When we invest in relationships or serve those who can give us nothing in return, we reflect the very heart of Jesus. Your talents, whether teaching a class, mentoring a child, or simply listening to someone in pain, are gifts from God meant to bless others.

Of course, our finances play a crucial role too. Living on the Edge exists to help Christians actually live like Christians, equipping believers with biblical teaching and life-changing tools that form authentic disciples, heal families, and transform entire communities.

Every story of a marriage restored, a prodigal child returning home, or a believer standing boldly for Christ is possible because of generous partners like you.

There is a profound personal blessing in giving, but something even greater happens—people’s lives are changed forever. If fear, selfishness, or that sense of “just a little bit more” ever creeps in (as it does for all of us), remember that the antidote is to trust God enough to give Him your first and your best.

Those who give of themselves in every way are those who find themselves most blessed. Would you consider responding now in every dimension of generosity?

  • Speak life-giving words into spaces of conflict.
  • Intentionally invest your time and talents where you see hurt and division.
  • Continue (or increase) your partnership with Living on the Edge, knowing your financial gifts equip the ministry to spread Christ’s truth and love to a nation desperate for healing.

This is not about meeting a budget or checking a box. It’s about joining God’s movement to overcome evil with good and be the kind of people and nation He longs for us to be.

When you live generously, not only are you helping others experience transformation, but you are also changed in the process.

Thank you for letting God’s love flow through you: in your words, time, talents, and treasure. With your help, together we will build bridges instead of barriers and shine the light of Christ in these dark days.

Standing together for Christ,
