Dear Friend,

It is obvious that the Spirit of God is moving here and around the world:

• Bible sales are booming, especially with young adults.
• Thousands of people were recently baptized in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California.
• Church plants and Bible studies are thriving, even in some of the most unexpected places across the country.
• College campus ministries are overflowing.
• Church attendance is surging, with younger generations leading the way.

This is a pivotal moment! Our culture is searching for evidence that the God of the Bible is real, powerful, and near. And I sense that He is inviting His people into something more–not just small improvements, but genuine breakthroughs. Not the kind we can engineer with our own effort, but the kind only God can accomplish when He unleashes His power into impossible situations.

In my Breakthrough teaching series this month, we are reminded that throughout Scripture, God meets ordinary people in overwhelming circumstances and does the humanly unimaginable: He parts seas, topples giants, restores shattered relationships, provides in times of desperate need, and softens the hardest hearts. Those stories are not just ancient history; they are windows into what God is still willing and able to do for His children today.

Many people are facing “impossible” things right now: a diagnosis that will not change, a prodigal who will not return, a marriage that feels beyond repair, financial pressure that seems crushing, or a spiritual dryness that feels permanent. If that is you, this new year is not about trying harder; it is about making room for God to do what only He can do. Breakthrough always begins when we come to the end of ourselves and bring our honest need, in humility and faith, before a faithful God.

Breakthrough is possible! God wants to help you, but you must prepare yourself for Him to supernaturally work in your life and situation.

As you step into 2026, will you join me in 3 specific commitments?

• First, prepare your heart. Set aside regular, focused time in God’s Word and prayer, asking Him to search you, cleanse you, and realign your priorities around His will. Breakthrough rarely happens in a hurried, cluttered soul.
• Second, take a bold step of trust. Obey the next clear thing God has already shown you, even if it stretches your comfort, your schedule, or your resources. He often releases His power on the other side of risky obedience.
• Third, persevere in expectancy. Refuse to interpret God’s silence as His absence. Keep sowing in faith, gathering with His people, and praying specifically for the breakthrough you need, believing that in His time and His way, He will act.

A deeper relationship with God can truly change your life! When He breaks through in your life, it will not only transform you; it will become a testimony that points others to the only One who can heal, restore, and save.
