April 2026
Dear Friend,
If we were sitting down across from each other with a cup of coffee, I think I'd lean in close and ask you something I've wrestled with for as long as I can remember: On the hard days, do you ever find it difficult to truly receive God's love—not just believe it, but actually let it in?
I talk to so many believers who genuinely love the Lord but still feel bogged down—by guilt, by old labels, by fears and expectations they can’t quite shake. They know the right answers, but inside, they still feel like the “old” version of themselves, not the “new person” God has created. Hey, I’ve been there too.
That’s why this month’s broadcast series is so close to my heart—"The New You: Reclaiming Your Birthright as a Child of God.” I’m not just teaching this material—I’ve had to live it. There were seasons in my life when I was working hard for God on the outside but still doubting who I was on the inside. Progressively learning what it means to be fully accepted, forgiven, and adopted by my heavenly Father has changed everything for me.
My deep desire is that you experience that same freedom. I want you to know—not just in your head but in your heart—that you are secure in Christ, that you matter, that your life has purpose. When this truth sinks in, you don't have to chase approval or live in fear anymore. You can stand up straight, breathe deeply, and live freely—as the beloved child of God you’ve always been.
At Living on the Edge, that’s what we’re all about—not giving you more to think about (informational), but coming alongside you as God does His quiet, steady work of changing you from the inside out, one day at a time (transformational).
To go along with this series, we've created something I hope feels less like a resource and more like a standing invitation—Growing Deeper in Christ: A 365-Day Journey to True Discipleship. Every day, it's a chance for us to pull up a chair together, spend some time in God's Word, and let it shape how we actually live. It follows Jesus' own pattern of discipleship, drawn from 10 books I've written over the years—not random readings, but a thoughtful, systematic journey. It's my way of walking alongside you, one day at a time.
Each day, you’ll spend just a few minutes in the Bible, reflecting on who you are in Christ and taking one simple step of obedience. My hope is that as you walk through these daily readings, the truths of “the new you” will move from the pages of your Bible into the fabric of your everyday life—your relationships, your decisions, your inner thoughts.
Plus, when you request this practical resource, you will help others—people just like you—discover how to shed the “old life,” and put on the “new life” Christ has provided.
I want you to know something: Living on the Edge has never been my ministry—it's ours. For thirty years, it's been built by ordinary people like you who believed God could use them to change lives. Every message, every resource, every person who hears the gospel and takes a step toward Christ—it happens because people like you pray, give, and care deeply about others growing in their faith.
This month, I’m inviting you to take a step forward with me:
- When you send your first gift to Living on the Edge: I’d be honored to send you a copy of Growing Deeper in Christ as my way of saying thank you and welcoming you into our family of loyal supporters. It’s a joy for me to place this devotional in your hands, and I pray that it becomes a daily reminder of who you are in Jesus.
- When you step forward as a monthly partner, we’ll send you a copy of Growing Deeper in Christ, along with inspiring updates that share how God is using your generosity to impact lives around the world. As a monthly partner, your consistent giving has a compounding impact on the people we’re empowered to reach here in North America and around the world.
I know your heart is heavy for friends, children, and colleagues who haven't yet discovered who they really are in Christ, and mine is too. Your partnership with Living on the Edge makes it possible for me to keep speaking that truth—clearly, boldly, and to as many people as we can reach together in a world desperate for hope and truth.
Every time I step into the recording booth, I'm thinking about real people on the other side of that microphone—you, your family, the struggles you're carrying, the decisions that keep you up at night. My prayer is that every time you hear Living on the Edge, something settles a little deeper in your heart: you are not alone, and God is completely, unconditionally for you.
Friend, I truly believe this could be a defining season in your walk with Christ. Not by trying harder—but by reclaiming your birthright as a dearly loved child of God and learning to live from that new identity.
If this message matters to you, would you stand with us this month? Somewhere out there is a person who is tired of striving, tired of feeling unworthy—and your gift is what helps us reach them.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Chip Ingram
