JOY IS A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE
JOY IS A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE
Looking back on the successes of this past quarter—our increasing broadcast reach across different platforms, our expanding reach internationally to support and train pastors, and our continuing relationship with Steiger International to provide valuable resources to help reach the next generation—we count it all joy!
In today's world, finding joy can be a real struggle, even for those of us who follow Christ. Everyone's life has some emptiness. Struggles either define you or help you learn to trust God. Maybe you've seen or heard the illustration of half a pitcher of water. Is it half full or half empty? The fact is, it's a matter of perspective.
God calls us to choose joy despite our circumstances. How you deal with tough circumstances will determine your outlook on life. In fact, there's a divine equation: C + P = E. Our Circumstance plus our Perspective equals our Experience. But understanding that and living it out can be difficult.
That's why I'm excited to introduce I Choose Joy: Home Church Edition. This resource is designed so you can bring biblical teachings on joy directly into your home church. You, along with a body of believers, will learn practical ways to embrace God's divine plan and discover how to activate hope and joy in your life no matter what you're facing. Will you join me as we choose joy together? I can't wait to see how God transforms our hearts and communities!
How Does Your Home Church Choose Joy?
I Choose Joy: Home Church Edition is perfect for a body of believers who may not attend a "traditional" church but want to grow their faith in a community. This free four-part video series, complete with participant's guide, provides convenient biblical teachings on the life of the apostle Paul as together you discover how to cultivate joy despite life's circumstances. IT'S NOT JUST ANOTHER RADIO PROGRAM
IT'S NOT JUST ANOTHER RADIO PROGRAM
The radio broadcast of Living on the Edge is dedicated to sharing the profound message of Jesus Christ. When people hear the teaching messages, they can be confident that God is mightily using our radio ministry to advance His Kingdom.
Reaching over a million listeners each week, we hear countless stories of hope and transformation that can come only from the life-changing message of the gospel. Take Jake's story: Nine years ago, after his marriage failed, he discovered our broadcast on WNKJ Christian radio. Through the series Love, Sex, and Lasting Relationships, Jake felt God speaking directly to him, empowering him to fight for his marriage. Ultimately, it led to his wife's salvation and their reunion!
Pedro shared how our daily broadcasts became a lifeline during a period of deep personal struggle. After repenting and seeking God's help, he found our program and felt as though Chip was speaking directly to him, providing the encouragement he desperately needed. Now he uses the Chip Ingram app and said he is growing stronger in his faith each day, proving that God's timing is perfect.
It's through this broadcast that we see God's transformative message touch hearts and minds, and Christians become ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Like we heard from Marguarita. She has listened to Living on the Edge daily for several years and spoke of how Chip's messages remind her of who God is and how much she means to Him! She frequently recommends to friends episodes that address what they're going through at the moment.
Heather, inspired by the Genius of Generosity series, now uses it in a life group she co-leads at her church. Her group listens to the podcast and engages with the message notes, applying God's Word to their lives.
Angela told us that she had been praying for more compassionate ways to share the gospel with two of her sons when she came across one of Chip's messages. She recounted how powerful the message was and how she could confidently share her faith.
These testimonies remind us that God's Word shared through radio has the power to transform lives. Despite claims that radio is dying, Living on the Edge is experiencing the exact opposite. Our radio ministry is thriving and touching lives in incredible ways, thanks to the power of God and your unwavering support.
