Ministry leaders in Punjab, India need your prayers.

Punjab, India is a vibrant, culturally diverse region with growing tourism, music, film, and culinary influence. Bordering Pakistan, this northern state is home to the richest farming area in India. Residents have higher literacy rates, higher life expectancy, and higher income than most other parts of the country. However, as the church grows in Punjab, believers increasingly face social pressure and opposition for their faith.

In some parts of India, pastors have been jailed and even been killed, and churches have been vandalized and destroyed. Believers face economic and social discrimination and even injury or death for choosing to follow Jesus. Religious conversion is against the law across many states in India, and while it is not illegal to accept Jesus in Punjab, conversions are often met with discrimination and even violence.

Yet God is at work here. And He is using the generosity of people like you to make it possible.

India is home to more than 1.4 billion people—one of the largest mission fields in the world, with hundreds of millions who have little or no access to the gospel. In many regions, rising pressures are making it harder for believers to openly live out their faith. 

In spite of the challenges, many people across India are coming to faith, and pastors are continuing to share the gospel—finding new ways to reach and strengthen their communities.

This growth has revealed a critical need: Many pastors lack the training and tools to disciple new believers and build mature churches.

Revival is not just about many coming to Christ—it’s about many becoming like Christ.  And your support helps to make it possible.
